I tossed up a quick-n-dirty website for Soul Enchilada until the jacket art is available. There's nothing there you haven't seen, so don't click here.

When I uploaded the book trailers for Soul Enchilada, I expected some loss of quality. After watching the embeddeds, I realized my expectations were still too high. The pictures were pixelated, and the sound as out of synch. Turns out, YouTube converts all video formats to flash, which is fast and small but lossy.

Off I went in search of a video hosting site that allows HD uploads. I didn't have to go far. Vimeo.com allows you to upload HD videos, which is displays at the same quality. I've uploaded the two trailers and am impressed. For the third trailer, I use YouTube because, you know, it gets a bazillion hits a day. For sharing, I'm going to stick with Vimeo.

This is one of three (at least) book trailers we're making for Soul Enchilada. The focus for this version was the scary aspect of the story. The others will be lighter.
